General information
The intelligent metal-clad closed switchgear with a withdrawable element KMS-12 is designed for operation in three-phase alternating current networks with a frequency of 50 Hz and a rated voltage of 3.6–12 kV. It is used to receive and distribute electricity, as well as to control, monitor and protect electrical circuits. The device can be used in systems with one sectional busbar and with two sectional busbars. This product is a new generation of intelligent switchgear developed by our company based on advanced foreign production technologies. The device provides real-time transmission of information about the technical condition of equipment through a digital interface, which allows timely identification of potential faults. In addition, the device supports operation without the constant presence of maintenance personnel and control from a regional monitoring center. It can receive and execute control commands coming from the monitoring center, dispatch center and local top-level system, automatically managing the corresponding equipment.
Characteristics
1. High performance characteristics: Pressure relief channels are provided in all three compartments of the switchgear to relieve pressure generated during an internal arc short circuit.
2. High level of protection:The switchgear is equipped with a comprehensive protection system against erroneous operations. Reliable mechanical locking meets the requirements of the electrical system “five protections against erroneous operations.”
3. High level of intellectualization: Using IoT, edge computing and IEC 61850 technologies, as well as various sensors, mechanical and electrical analysis, temperature analysis and other functions are performed. This provides “self-diagnosis” of the technical condition of the switchgear.
4. Visualized one-click sequential control:remote control from a computer allows you to perform the sequence of turning on the equipment with one click: opening the grounding switch → moving the trolley to the working position → turning on the switch → charging the spring. The tripping sequence is reversed: open the circuit breaker → move the trolley to the test position → close the earthing switch.
5. Maintenance based on the actual condition of the equipment: By collecting information about the condition of the equipment, an analysis of its technical condition is performed and, depending on the results of the analysis, warning signals of the appropriate level are generated. This approach allows you to move from regular inspections and planned maintenance to condition-based maintenance, which significantly increases the efficiency of operating personnel.
6. Video monitoring inside the cabinet in real time: The built-in video surveillance system allows you to remotely monitor in real time the position and movement of the circuit breaker in the circuit breaker chamber - between the operating and test positions, as well as the position of the grounding disconnector in the cable compartment - between the on and off states. This ensures safe and efficient operation of the equipment.
7. Partial discharge monitoring:The partial discharge monitoring system makes it possible to detect insulation defects such as tree-like aging and breakdown of cable insulation, as well as moisture penetration into cable fittings. Early detection of potential faults allows for timely planning of maintenance, preventing serious accidents and increasing the reliability of equipment during long-term operation.
